“Embrace Shangyue Jade, Ride the Global Trend” Shangyue Hanbai Jade Makes Its Debut at the Xiamen Stone Fair
From March 16 to 19, 2025, Shangyue Hanbai Jade made its debut at the Xiamen International Stone Fair with the theme “Embrace Shangyue Jade, Ride the Global Trend,” showcasing the world’s largest Hanbai jade mine resources (with reserves exceeding 1 billion cubic meters).
This exhibition featured both indoor and outdoor booths. At the opening ceremony on March 16, Shangyue Chairman Jin Shangshang announced a deep partnership with CCTV’s hit show “National Treasure” and emphasized, “Hanbai jade is a dual gift from nature and history. This cooperation aims to empower the industry with culture, allowing stone materials to carry a thousand years of civilization.”
Sun Yubo, the business director of the “National Treasure” IP, further elaborated on the significance of the cooperation: “Shangyue not only possesses top-notch mining and design capabilities but also shoulders the mission of reviving Eastern culture. At the themed forum “Leading the Trend: Eastern ‘Stone’ Fashion” held on the same day, guests jointly explored how Hanbai jade could achieve cross-border empowerment through design and culture under the “Belt and Road” initiative, further clarifying the direction for future international strategies.

Design Salon Focuses on Future Trends
On March 17, Shangyue Hanbai Jade reached another climax at the “Design Space-Time/Encounter with the Future” themed salon. Shao Weiyen, a professor of architecture at National Chiao Tung University and a pioneer in cross-border design, gave a speech titled “Encounter with the New Future of Architectural Sculpture,” starting from high-end hotel design and combining AI technology with cross-border cases of Hanbai jade. He vividly demonstrated how to break through the limitations of traditional materials and transform Hanbai jade into a spatial language carrying Eastern aesthetics.
At the event site, Shangyue also launched the “Chasing Jade—Hanbai Jade Design Co-creation Global Tour,” aiming to jointly create innovative applications of Hanbai jade in architecture, art, and home furnishings with top domestic and international designers through global tours, technological breakthroughs, and creative incubation. This initiative received unanimous praise from participants and designers and laid a solid foundation for future cross-border cooperation.
